A Day at the Zoo

Everybody had a four day this weekend. So we thought we would go and do something. Friday morning the sun was out and it looked like it was going to be a nice day so we called Robyn and headed to the zoo.

Connor was being feisty and pushed Mike over then got in his lap to look at the sharks, oh I should have put up a picture of the sharks.

Here we have the lynx that was about to eat a little boy. No really the boy was about 18 months old and in front of us. The handlers had to tell his parents to hold him while the cat was out.

Robyn was watching me and the kids in the carousel.

The kids were acting like hermit crabs, they had fun playing. Again I should have put up some more pics.

The walrus was waving hello to every one. That is Kaylee and Connor, or at least the back of their heads. That walrus was HUGE!!!

We had a very nice day. The weather was nice for the most part and the kids were both happy. We like going to the zoo, any zoo for that matter. We are going to have to make the most of every long weekend we get before Mike deploys. The kids want to go camping next time. I say it has to warm up first, warm up alot first! But we had fun this weekend till Kaylee started feeling crummy yesterday. Surprise she has strep again. Oh well that's what happens.
