Busy, Busy!!

Well I keep trying to get a minute to blog, but things just don't seem to be slowing down. And it doesn't seem that they will any time soon. So I am taking a minute since the kids I have today are happy and doing it.

School starts in just over 2 weeks. And we still don't know if Connor is gonna get to go. Mike is still home and they are trying to decide what they are gonna do about his knee. Kaylee is so excited about turning 8 and is trying to get ready for her baptism. The kids are good and running in every direction. They are in swimming lessons right now and Loving it! Kaylee is doing piano lessons. I think if I could get her to practice she could be really good. But we have to see how much she wants it. But she is enjoying it.

For those of you that know it won't come as a surprise that I haven't worked with Kaylee much this summer on her reading. But I tell you she is figuring it out on her own. She is amazing. The other day I was talking to Mike and spelled something and she totally called me on it. And knew what I was talking about.

I have to say I love my kids and think they are pretty great! It's also been loads of fun to see them with Reva! The other day Robyn was over here with the baby and Kaylee fed her and changed her diaper. Connor loves to rock her in my chair and sing to her. They are getting so big!!!

I kept thinking that once school starts we can slow down some and get into a routine but you know it is so not gonna happen. Because before you know it Halloween will be here then Thanksgiving and birthdays and Christmas and then the new year and we get to start all over again. But I have to say I am enjoying life and all it's craziness.
