Over the last 13 years Mike has been gone for 2 tours to Korea, a year to Iraq, and a dozen different schools for the Army. We have moved 9 times and been ready to walk away from it all more than once. But even with all the crazy we have been blessed beyond anything I could have asked for.
The life that we have isn't at all what I used to imagine I'd have when I was growing up. But it is a good life full of amazing gifts from our Loving Heavenly Father. We were able to go to the temple in March 2001 and be sealed. I tease Mike that he picked me twice so it's too late to change his mind now. We have 2 incredible kids that keep us busy and keep our home full of love and surprises! And we are going to welcome another sweet boy into our home the end of December! We have been blessed beyond measure and I love the life that Michael and I have built together.
These pictures are from a year ago but they are be closest I could find. And no your eyes are not playing tricks on you we are fluffier then we were when we started. But Mike says it's a good thing, that's how you know your happy.
It's wonderful to know that this gets to continue after this life if we continue faithful. I love they way we are raising our family and the good kids they are. I love that Mike and I are open and honest with each other. And that we do all this together, we work together, support each other, and are there for each other in all that we come up against.
I love Michael with all that I have. I love the man that he was when we got married and I love and adore the man that he is today. I am blessed to have him love me too.
At church yesterday a sweet sister came up to me, laughed, and said " My husband just told me that you and Mike are the perfect couple. Sugar and Spice." I had to laugh with her. What a Spicy blessing Michael is to me and I hope that my Sugar has been good for him too.
