No Pics :(

I kept thinking I will wait just a little longer to post so I can put pictures up also. But I'm tired of waiting. To much is happening to not write about at least some of it. So here goes.

We had a wonderful summer. Mike had block leave so we went to Arizona. He was able to stay 2 weeks with us then he had to come home for work, however, the kids and Igot to stay for another month. It was so, so great to see everyone. It had been 2 years since we had been back. Mom and Dad had room for us to stay and not feel like we were in the way this time. It was so nice, it has been years since we felt so comfortable and welcome. Not that my parents were ever cranky but Sarah makes life hard when she is around. Kim and Erica came over a few times which was great! We got to meet Erica's sweet baby girl. She is darling, and so in love with her Mommy, which is good cause Erica adores her also.

It was amazing to see Polly and her family. She is something else! And the change I see in her family is so neat! Melanie and Dave came down twice!!! I swear I loved spending time with her and her sweet family! We got to visit with Beth and Bowen. And I can't even begin to tell you what good friends Connor and Jordyn are!!! It was a total crack up to see those two together. That is what having cousins is all about! I wish so very much we could be closer!!!!

We were able to be in Safford for Rob's 60th birthday! It was so so nice to be there and see everyone!! Karrie and her family came out from New York. I couldn't keep my kids out of Bonnie's place. They had so much fun with all the cousins, and loved spending time with their Grammy and Papa! The boys went out shooting some and the girls got in on that a little. I love seeing Mike with his family. It was the first time in ages that everyone was together.

It was such a good trip but being gone from home for nearly 6 weeks is really a long time. In the end it was so good to get home again. My Dad helped me drive home with the kids. I couldn't ask for better family!!! We have been truly blessed, Michael and I, with the most amazing families! There is no place like home! I just wish home was closer to family!
