Moving in

It took 3 days to drive up here after spending a week in lodging in LA. So by the time we were here the kids were ready to play. I was so glad that lodging had a play ground. Out we went and they played till they were frozen.

They slept like rocks after getting to play. Moving can be hard on a kid. They didn't sleep well very many nights but I was glad when they did.

After nearly 3 weeks in hotels we were glad to get a house! We were able to get on and Kaylee only missed one day of school! This is Kaylee's second first day of 1st grade. How many kids get to say that? She seems to be comfortable at this school which is a good thing. But it is yet to be seen how good of a school it is.

With this house being smaller then where we were and with WAY less storage we let the kids pick some paint and put up some shelves in their rooms. They enjoyed painting and I'm glad to have some where to put some of their stuff.

We are just about unpacked and trying to adjust to life up here. The kids as always are wonderful and haven't had a problem with being here. All in all we are good.
